Wired mode on creator micro 2pro model

My creator micro 2 pro is connected to my monitor via usb which I then connect my MacBook to via thunderbolt.
I want do use it wired even tho its the pro model. Is there any function that lets me turn the micro off just by turning of my monitor or do I have to manually turn the switch off and on every time I want to use the creator micro.
I would love to see advanced options in input to manually decide things like when the device is going into sleeping mode
