Scrolling lag

I’m mapping basic keys to the rotary encoder. Spinning right emulates hitting the right arrow which incrementally speeds up the scroll down on my software. Spinning left, well… ya know, the opposite of right. Two things: first, It just feels like when I dial right (right arrow, again) it lags. Like the encoder is not repeatedly pressing arrow as I turn the knob like I want it to do. Then when I Dial left, it doesn’t immediately emulate the left arrow. It seems to slowly come around to hitting the left arrow. This works flawlessly on the CM1, so it seems like this is an Input issue…?
