Scroll up and down through Codex response with Codex Micro Knob

When i go back into a thread where Codex has recently finished its response I want to quickly scroll through the response to determine my next action. I would like to use the knob on the codex micro as a scroll wheel for browsing the response. This feature allows me to stay hands off laptop, quickly read and react to the response.

Thread button goes green → navigate to thread → use knob to scroll through response → press PTT to dictate response → click submit key

What am I missing?
