Link layer functionality over Bluetooth.
I've set up my Creative Micro 2 by linking specific applications to different layers. This seems to work when my micro is connected to my computer via a USB cable, but when I unplug it, the micro:pad still works, but the layers don't update based on the currently focused app.

I was reading through the forums, and noticed a mention about interference from Karabiner. I also use this application. When I turned it off, indeed the layer switching was working over Bluetooth. So something is interfering with Karabiner. I have a very simple Karabiner modification mapping the Tab key into a Hyper key which I use for linking applications to specific keys via Raycast and I also map them to the Creative Micro to launch applications.
I would love to see this fixed so that you can use both Karabiner and Creative together.

Hey @shaunrpatel unfortunately, we don’t have a solution at the moment since this is mostly on Karabiner side. The problem is when you turn on the modify-events flag in Karabiner they take exclusive access of that device from the operating system, effectively cutting us off from it.
You can still use karabiner normally just disable the modify-events flag for our devices.

@shaunrpatel You can also create an Action in input which would work as an Hyper Key which would remove the need to use Karabiner with the Creator Micro.
Karabiner can be kept active, just disable “modify events” for the Creator Micro.
