Input: macOS Control Center widget could display the Layer and/or the Profile currently in use

Feature Request

The Input macOS Control Center widget could display the current Layer as a small integer on one cover of the menu icon. The same for the Profile, perhaps that can be a color?

    Supporting this natively on macOS would take some work, but we’d be happy to explore it if there’s enough community interest.
