in Input, please handle old firmware versions

my nomad e device is old. i ended up installing input to customize a key, but the current version of input broke the device, and input didn’t know how to fix it. community showed me how to use the reset buttons on the hardware. at minimum, it’d be nice to see these reset instructions in-app. at best, it would be nice to gracefully handle this so that no one ever loses their macro data.

this experience is convincing me that i shouldn’t be relying on hardware macros.
