Creator Micro 2 Connected to ChatGPT, but Native Controls (Push-to-Talk & Dial) Not Working

Creator Micro 2 native ChatGPT/Codex integration is not functioning on macOS.

Versions

• Creator Micro 2 firmware: 0.6.2

• Work Louder Input: 0.18.4

• ChatGPT macOS: 26.901.20858

Symptoms

• ChatGPT Settings shows Creator Micro as Connected.

• ChatGPT can communicate with the device.

• Physical push-to-talk/mic button does nothing.

• Long-pressing the main dial does nothing.

• ChatGPT's on-screen microphone works normally.

Troubleshooting completed

• ChatGPT has Input Monitoring permission.

• ChatGPT has Microphone permission.

• Logi Options+ completely terminated.

• Work Louder Input terminated.

• Mac restarted.

• Tested via USB-C with only ChatGPT running.

• Problem persists.

Interesting log behaviour

• Device RPC communication is working and device.status successfully reports firmware 0.6.2.

• focus_app_service detects application changes, but host.focused_app repeatedly returns null.

• v.oai.rgbcfg and v.oai.thstatus return ok:1.

• There are also repeated No resolver found messages for device/OpenAI RPC responses.
