Codex Micro Stuck in Bootloader Mode

Attempted to update while connected via USB-C cable with the Input app, I’ve waited for long time, tried the reset button, tried to hard power cycle with the power button, etc. Nothing works.

My only option seems to be to provide it with a bin, unless there is an undocumented sequence. HELP!
