Creator Micro v2 - Battery Charging Issues

Even after charging it the entire afternoon, Framer Creator Micro keeps reporting only 1% battery on bluetooth settings page MacOS. It doesn’t seem to update or reflect the actual charge level. When connected through cable can’t see how much battery it has.

When I turn the FCM off and back on, I’m unable to reconnect it to my MacBook via Bluetooth. The only way to make it work again is to plug it in until Input recognises it, unplug it, and then it finally enters pairing mode (first layer light starts to blink slowly).
If I hold the capacitive “Framer button,” the layer light starts blinking faster and it pairs successfully. This only works after the plug–unplug sequence.
