Creator Micro v2 - Battery Charging Issues

Even after charging it the entire afternoon, Framer Creator Micro keeps reporting only 1% battery on bluetooth settings page MacOS. It doesn’t seem to update or reflect the actual charge level. When connected through cable can’t see how much battery it has.

When I turn the FCM off and back on, I’m unable to reconnect it to my MacBook via Bluetooth. The only way to make it work again is to plug it in until Input recognises it, unplug it, and then it finally enters pairing mode (first layer light starts to blink slowly).
If I hold the capacitive “Framer button,” the layer light starts blinking faster and it pairs successfully. This only works after the plug–unplug sequence.

    @João Dória Thank you for the feedback! We are currently investigating the charging issue with the chip manufacturer. Is it something that still affects you? If so, we could hop on a call to get more diagnostic info from your unit.

      Hi @Davide // Work Louder, not currently. Can’t tell exactly when it stopped since I also have the battery drain issue in BLE so my use in that mode is almost none.

      I tried connecting the FCM through BLE and was able to see 100%, 56%, 35% etc (although it went from fully charged to almost depleted in seconds), and now I have it plugged-in & am seeing the battery slowly charge.

      But if you still think it would benefit the team taking a look at my unit, I would be more than willing to hop on a call with you.

    After reading this: https://worklouder.cc/micro-setup, I was able to connect FCM to two different machines, although I had to reset it first, but battery status on System Settings on MacOS still shows as only having 1% battery (same thing happens when I pressed once on the power button, the LED of the first column go red) even though it showed full capacity minutes before.

    Not sure if I have a faulty battery or if it is something with the software or current firmware on the device itself.

    OS: MacOS Sequoia 15.7.2 (Mac Mini 2018 Intel I5)
    FCM Firmware: 0.2.1-dirty
    Input version: 0.12.2
