App sense not work properly on non preset apps

I have create a layout for after effects in the input app and link it for it to auto switch using app sense when I open after effects, however I have come to realized It doesn’t switch. I think It is because it wasn’t a preset that I downloaded as all the other apps I have used (premiere pro and blender) auto switch using app sense .

Is any way to look into this or create a preset into the input app that I can download which might resolve the issue.

    Hey @Floyd Johnson , thank you for the report!

    App-linking should work with all the apps, we did not restrict the functionality to any specific software. That said, some apps might misbehave on how they report their “name” to the operating system.

    Would you mind sharing if you are on mac or windows?
