App sense not work properly on non preset apps

I have create a layout for after effects in the input app and link it for it to auto switch using app sense when I open after effects, however I have come to realized It doesn’t switch. I think It is because it wasn’t a preset that I downloaded as all the other apps I have used (premiere pro and blender) auto switch using app sense .

Is any way to look into this or create a preset into the input app that I can download which might resolve the issue.
